I see that MCM aren't really gonna change their ways about the rep situation, so I guess I'll make another suggestion.

How about when people click on the "Add Reputation" button it gives a prompt saying that if false proof / reputation is given, warning points will be warranted. That way there will be less complaints about people losing a ton of rep + it'll clean up the reputation section + less work for Mods?

Would be nice to see this with the current reputation situation.

Who would receive the warning? The person who made the rep, or the person receiving it?

What I mean by what I said is, when you go to add a reputation for someone, it'll pop up with a prompt. Since its not the person receiving the rep's fault on what someone else does, hence the use of reputation.

Ahh, makes sense; thank you for the clarification. I agree that the person receiving it shouldn't be the one getting in trouble, rather the false proof of reputation. This seems like a reasonable idea.

The person who made the rep, if u issue warning points to the person who got rep then people could false rep to get someone banned.

Depending on how severe they twisted the story, should be how many warning points they collect.

Ex:
“User did not respond for days upon days at a time after the sale, he scammed me for my account and money”
In reality, the Seller did not reply for a few hours and the trade went smoothly.

( Sorry this was the only example that I could come up with lmao, but you get where I’m going )

I'm mainly focused on positive reputation but with negative it works too. Imo all reps should warrant the same warning points.

Yeah I get you, many people go around asking for Rep for Rep and things like Free Spotify Premium, which require no skills at all, and still get rep from this. Eventually, the User who gains all the reputation exits, then gets banned.

It'd be better a pop up prompt, because on god never read that before.

Needs to be more in your face. And enforced more.[DOUBLEPOST=1565130628][/DOUBLEPOST]More feedback please ;)
I think how it is is perfectly fine, I'd rather not have an additional pop up that people have to click through every time they ad rep when there's no reason for it.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
