Hello there everyone.
I would like to make sure to warn everyone here of a scammer.

His MC-Market account must have already been banned (little did I know) so I cannot place a scam report against him. Just want to warn everyone to not do business with him.

He goes by the following alias:
- FancyGFX
- Luke Mat
- Red Spyro

I have designed this website for him: http://fancygfx.com for $30 USD
This was finished by around November 10.

Today (November 22) we exchanged the following Skype messages:

He disputed a refund on PayPal and then escalated it to PayPal saying that he had never received his item/service.
$30 USD is currently being held by PayPal in my account.

I cannot take down the site that I have made him as he has changed all the FTP passwords.
So sadly, I was scammed.

He also claimed that he was working with a user named WoodPunchGFX. Unsure if he really was.

Make sure to do your research before dealing with a customer guys! I know I certainly will now.

Make sure to make a Scam Report.
Can't since his MC-Market account is already banned.
I did not know this or I would not have conducted business with him.

Did he win he PayPal claim dispute?
Probably will since I don't have "tracking number" or "shipping" proof.
There is not any proof that he is the owner of the site. So sadly, he probably will win it.
At the moment, the $30 USD is just being held by PayPal.

Wrong Section but thanks!
Sorry about that.
But just had to warn everyone while I could :)

you should just leak all of the stuff
I would do that gladly. But I only have the images with watermarks as those are the ones that he wanted on the website.

But then he would be leaking HIS code that he wrote. So, I would just wait for PayPal. Give them a call. This happened to me on Ebay and I simply just called PayPal. It took me around 20 minutes after sending them proof of the delivery. So you could probably just show them your code, and considering that you have your name on the website, that too

Do you know the number or department that I would call?
I would gladly do this soon.

1amDev: Did he pay you via a goods and services payment?

Also, it doesn't hurt to open a scam report on a banned user. Just because the user is banned, that doesn't mean they were permanently banned and they may be unbanned later. If they do become unbanned later, we can always reopen the report and there will be a record of the scam as well.

Yes, he indeed did.[DOUBLEPOST=1448234450,1448234165][/DOUBLEPOST]

Ah, sorry about that then.
I didn't think I could since he was already gone off of MC-Market.
Thanks though for taking up my case :)

Okay. In that case, call PayPal's dispute resolution department and tell them about the situation. Make sure to gather up all the correspondence between the two of you, any terms and conditions that applied to the purchase, the buyer's agreement to the terms and conditions, etc. As it is a service, I can't promise you that you will win, but if you gather all of the evidence and talk with them, you have a better chance. Consider any evidence that the buyer may present to PayPal as well.

Will do.
Thanks for the advice :)
Hopefully he won't be scamming anyone again.
