I've only been on MCM a few weeks and I've already lost other $50 to scammers and made about $30, The reason for this is because I sell art that's really easy to remove watermarks.
Atm my watermarks are looking like this (ik its a render not art but o well.)

The owner of this literally told me they removed the watermark I'd left a couple mins ago and I'm getting sick of it (saving to buy manga studio and I should have it aswell as ranks on MCM.) Anyways, anyone have any advice on how I can make a watermark harder to remove or prevent my art being stolen??

I'm not an expert in gfx but cant you just render it into the image like in the background?

Take a picture of the screen with a phone. Just make it so it's low quality AND watermarked. They are only soppused to see how it looks for changes anyway.

Uh, I've never had this problem and I have a watermark which covers less area than yours o_O
Something I do is having a required at least 50% upfront payment, especially if the user is new or not as reputable as you. This also helps prevent them from backing out of deals.

Another thing that I think is important is having a solid TOS that the users directly has to agree to. I have seen staff say that terms of service which the user does not directly agree to / having a TOS that says something along the lines of "By contacting me you agree to these terms." will not be able to help you in the event of a scam report. (Sorry if that's wrong  )
Finally, don't send the full sized image to the user. Only send screenshots of portions of the image.

Make part of your TOS that they can't remove the watermarks, then if they do open a scam report or something, better then nothing...
