We could make a MINEPLEX!

Guys everyone has that dream to create a minecraft server thats successful. No one ever thinks about what would happen if everyone teamed up.. If everyone on mcmarket server owner or not helped contribute and spread the word about 1 server I could see that server getting as large as mineplex if not large over time.

I am not saying we should do this, but just think about the possibilities!
It wouldn't be for money, it would be to satisfy that dream!

we would need alot of money if we were to get enough servers and if you want to make it lag free with is a good idea. but yeah im all up for this idea.

Mineplex doesnt download plugins. That server is built up by proffesional developers (yes proffesional, not kids offering their "proffesional" skills).

But hell no. Hypixel is 108372 times better

Builds wise it isn't difficult to make mineplex. From one of the builders of the mineplex buildteam I had contact with recently, the mineplex owner hates detail, so he wants maps to be as simple as he can get away with.
Pluginwise it would be more challenging to make everything run smoothly.
Not to mention most of us would need to pool our resources to be able to initially afford server hosting (or start off small and keep growing slowly, trying to catch up)

Could be reasons for this, sure hypixels maps look much better, however mineplex's are simple and easy to get around. Heck when I only had a shitty laptop I couldn't play on hypixel because it lagged more than mineplex

I'll agree with you on that. However, the current simplicity of a map like the hub is just ridiculous. Their hub during the time I was there included a giant tree that didn't lag at all. Now the hub has become so much more simple still. And their waiting lobby is not only super ugly, it has also stayed the exact same over a period of at least 2 years, and has barely developed in that, despite the signs saying "parkour x under construction".

Cause minecraft server owners are all the friendliest people in the planet. I'm sure everyone would get along just swell, except for the murders and the start of WWIII.
