Introduction

I have accumulated almost everything I need for my master studio setup. This is just ran in my room from a regular everyday highschooler. I've saved a lot of money and without the people I know and my knowledge with equipment/careful research, none of this would be possible. Also, all the positive feedback from like last remix/song gave me extra motivation and drive to get this rolling. That song is below in the My Media section of my post. Below I will explain everything. Thanks :).

Equipment

Some notable things are my macbook pro (which I got in 2012, I just cleaned off all the junk from it), Yamaha HS8 studio monitors (or speakers), penvey pv6 mixer, dell 22in 60fps led display, blue baby bottle microphone, my drum set (which was a christmas gift a year and a half ago), piano (got this about 3 years ago just for standard playing and now I use a MIDI interface to use it on my computer), Ibanez bass guitar, some cheap ass electric guitar that works really well, a nice Kona KB50 bass amp for standard playing, soon to come audio technica headphones (souly for mixing), the desk me and my dad built, and then all the chords to make everything work.

Now you may think I stole my mom's credit card or I'm spoiled, but really it's all about who you know and what deals you can get. For example I got the baby bottle mic at a pawn shop, and it looks brand new, but I didn't pay retail. Be smart with your money even if it takes extra time. I'm way happier with my setup because I've saved hundreds maybe even thousands who knows.

Software

Now you can't get good deals on software, but what you can do is get the best for your money. I can't go through all my software but I will go through a few that I use the most. I have Ableton live 9, Massive, Sylenth1, and Audacity.

Conclusion

Now I have some high dollar equipment, but not all of it is nor needs to be. Always buy what you need and then after what you want. At the end of the day it's not what you have, it's how you use it. This can apply to anything and I have made some pretty good music with just my phone, but I think it was time to get some real, radio worthy music out there since this is my passion. Thanks to everyone again for all the nice feedback on my first mix and I promise all my next mixes will be 10 times better. Especially with all this new equipment. Anyway, my media is below if you'd like to check it out.
