It's because you have a fixed width on #second, meaning it doesn't expand when the inline block items stack.

Have fixed that. Now it has parts on the width that are not part of the div. How would I fix that? Thanks for the help btw.

No problems.
div elements by default take up the entire width of the screen unless you specify a width for either the element itself or its parent. Or you can simply add white-space:no-wrap; to the parent. That should get you by.
