Check out google cloud platform ($300 free credit). If you are a student at an accredited school, GitHub has a student developer pack with lots of good deals ($50 on digital ocean). Microsoft Azure is also great ($200 free credit). All of these could give you a small vps for over a year. I would personally recommend GCP because of they give the most credit and you would also get access to APIs and stuff for your development in the future. Digital ocean has the easiest interface, but it's a pain to get the student developer pack (plus you have to put in $10) and I imagine Azure is similar to GCP but I have not used it personally.
