Thank you for the recognition, but I'm too busy with school at the moment for a big project. Also, I only know the basics of Wordpress development (still learning).

Wordpress THEME development involves design... I'm guessing he doesn't want just a mockup, but a fully functional theme. Kind of obvious

You obviously have never created a Wordpress theme. If it was that easy, every web developer would be doing it. Wordpress has a very complicated syntax, it doesn't just use normal PHP.

You're right, there are tons of wordpress developers because of its simplicity. I myself I have completed some word press related jobs myself. And it does use normal PHP! It's even PHP7 compatible Might I ask, what constitutes "not normal" php aha

I meant Wordpress has specific functions and rules that you need to learn just like Xenforo development. You can't just build a Wordpress theme immediately after learning html and css.

you're right. you would need to know regular php... and mainly just for adding includes. you should just jump into it broski, its not as hard as you are making yourself think it is
