Hello,

I am looking to get a website for my company. I was wondering what is the best to use, WordPress, VPS, Shared or other (comment below). Just wondering what people think would be best to use. My website is going to be for a digital agency that offers a couple services. Will have about 7-10 pages. Needs to be good performance too.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you.

I would go with shared hosting most of the time. If you need more control and you have a crazy amount of people viewing at one time then I would consider a vps. But going shared hosting typically is the most cost effective and easiest to manage in my expierence.

Thank you for the response. Would you happen to recommend and good shared hosting providers?

Honestly, if you've got developers familiar with SSG frameworks (e.g. Next.js or Gatsby to name a few React frameworks), you could use Vercel, Netlify or Cloudflare Pages which is completely free for stuff at your scale. I run a few websites at practically zero cost (except for annual domain fees) with this method.

I actually could do this for you if you wanted, here is the website for that, https://nodeclusters.com/web.
I'd use oxide hosting Calm I've been using them for 3 years now, their support is amazing + have never had a security breach or anything.
NodeClusters is a decent solution, I've only had to contact support once and even then my issue resolved itself before support answered.
Thanks for the responses! I’m still unaware on what to use, either a WordPress hosting, VPS or shared for my website.

I’m not sure if you can upload HTML,CSS website on WordPress or not. As I have a website being made in HTML,CSS.

You can host your WordPress website on a shared hosting as well. You don't need to purchase a VPS at start as you won't have lots of visitors.
Your shared hosting should have at least 1 GB ram. Don't pay more than for a month at start, so you can see the quality of the hosting first.
