I personally disagree and for me id use something (whether its a change of background) to differentiate the sections on the site.I'd make use of a bit more whitespace, it seems to cramped
I also work in the web industry, my point definitely wasn't invalid.I personally disagree and for me id use something (whether its a change of background) to differentiate the sections on the site.
Id also personally but a full width section with some form of "call to action" such as a contact us button or something.
Again people may disagree and im not known for creativity but I will mention I do work in the web industry
That's not at all what I meant by that. If it came across like that I do apologise!I also work in the web industry, my point definitely wasn't invalid.
Its subjective point of view, is that design appealing to people? Maybe, appealing is relative subject.I'd make use of a bit more whitespace, it seems to cramped
I've implemented whitespace between the seperate elements, but are you trying to mean whitespace as in the whole layout?I'd make use of a bit more whitespace, it seems to cramped
I'll consider doing the CTA button, thanks for the advice! Some great work here!
Main points would be to shrink down the size of the footer, your social links could just be icons, rather than a full sized logo.
But most of all, that 'Get Started' Get it out of there! none of your users are going to find it down there and click through, as mentioned above make it a full-width call to action, possibly under your 'Why us' section.
The 'About Us' in the footer seems out of place, too. Maybe if it were it's own section or even page. (Of course, it'd probably need to be longer)
I understand it's a first design, but the copy and typography could have some work. 'Online purchases' is quite long and barely fits into its container compared to 'Secure' which is only a handful of lines and has a lot of space. Even them out.
Similar point for when you're featuring work, try to make it 'balance' and contain nicely within the given amount of room.
I'm new to web design myself, so take that with a grain of salt.
I might do a quick mockup for some of my own practice, too.
