Hello everybody,

This thread is for new users, and it will go over some of the basics of MC-Market.
Here you will learn the do's and don'ts of the forum. If you have any questions,
feel free to send me a private message, my DMs are always open (I don't bite <3)
Lets get right into this.

Selling / Buying Accounts
Selling & Buying Accounts, is fairly simple. When purchasing an account, I recommend
making sure that user is reputable, and not having low / negative reputation saying that
they have scammed someone. When buying an account, for example an OG Account
there are a few steps.

  1. Make sure you have the sufficient funds to bid on an account, and do not bid if you do not have enough money.
  2. Make sure the seller is reputable, and does not have any history of scamming in their reputation, and make sure they do not seem sketchy. Some very trusted and reliable sellers can be found in a list here -
  3. Make sure you read the Starting Bid and do not bid under that. The starting bid can be found in the thread, if there is not one, I recommend offering a DECENT PRICE.
  4. Do not lowball, lowballers are looked down upon, and are losers.
  5. If you have a specific account in mind, I recommend "Watching" the thread, so you can receive updates. If you are outbid, and wish to bid more, follow the Bid Increments and bid that amount higher than the last one, or more if you wish.
  6. If you are the highest bidder, and are buying an account, make sure to confirm with that user onsite that it's them, before dealing offsite, to avoid impersonators.
  7. Unnecessary Vouches. If the user states in the thread not to comment "vouch", "hot account", or "GLWS" etc, then do not do it, and do not vouch for people you have never done a deal with or are not close friends with.
  8. You need Premium Rank to sell accounts (Semi OG, OG, Cape, Ranked)
Threads
Some knowledge to know about threads.

  1. Do not trash, meaning do not start an argument, post irrelevant comments, etc. It is quite annoying, but everyone has done it by accident once or twice.
  2. Do not lowball. This goes for all selling / buying threads, do not bid small amounts, that are deemed as useless.
  3. Creating more than one thread. Do not create 3 threads, just because people did not respond to yours, it is quite annoying, and spams the section, making people just not want to buy your product.
Building / Plugins / Domains
This is some knowledge to know about the Domain, Plugin, & Building Section.
This will be useful for selling your product(s) in these sections.

Building
When selling a build, always make sure to provide proof of ownership, or proof
of reselling rights. Proof of Ownership, is pictures of the build before it was completed, halfway through, build progress, etc. Proof of resell rights, is a screenshot from the seller, saying you can resell that build. Also provide pictures with and without shaders.

Plugins
When selling a Plugin, always provide proof of ownership, which can be
snippets of code, pictures of you creating it, etc. This is very key that you do this,
so people know you did not go find some "unpopular" plugin that nobody knows about, and start selling it.

Domains
Make sure to always provide proof of ownership, a screenshot of the domain in your
account proving you own it, and I recommend re-directing it to the thread.

What's the point of making a list of reputable sellers if you are only going to list a small amount of them?

I don't think you should be making how to navigate around MC-M if you only have 3 positive and 1 negative rep.

Rep doesn’t mean anything if you’re explaining the way around a forums.

I’ve been on this forums 6 months longer than you, yet I’ve got no rep, doesn’t mean that I don’t know my way around the forums and know how things work, which is what he explains here.

exactly, if you're not an avid user of the forums, then why should you be making guides how to navigate around it

And rep can be precise, as it can indicate what field your reputable in, like your very reputable in the Discrims field ;) Mine indicates i am reputable (enough) in the GFX field, account selling field and Bot field

His information is correct so why does it matter?

his rep shows how authoritive or upholding he is, because any random can make a guide, but if you're well respected in the community you'll be taken more seriously

If he’s giving the proper information, and not no bs. I don’t see why it would matter wether he’s reputable or not. Just my opinion.

well, if an outsider, coming into the forums see that the user has 3 postive and 1 negative rep, and right below it sees someone with 50 rep, he's going to have a bias to the more reputable person, because that's how the reputation system works.
