With that being said, we just finished encrypting all mojang account passwords.
How was that done? You have to get the plain text password when it is time to "snipe" the name in order to login to their account. If you can get the password in plain text someone else can too so that seems pointless.

On another note, you should be grateful Ninja1 is giving you free accounts, I know I wouldn't. You can't blame him it's your own faults. What did you expect would happen when you enter your credentials on an unofficial site.

So what exactly was leaked/hacked? User's accounts on the website or just the Minecraft accounts?

From what I've seen, MC accounts.

Since most people used either 0.50 cracked accounts (which I am even replacing), or TID accounts (which ofc can be tidded with the only consequence being the name history), it's not THAT bad although a lot of people are pissed :/

Sorry guys
Ah alright, thanks. Good luck fixing the problem.

It's not about name history, some users were name swapping and most likely they're going to have to get a new account so they're able to change the name

I wouldn't be buying ranks like a crazy on an account you don't have the TID to. In that case, it would be very likely that the original owner takes it back, and you would suffer the same loss.[DOUBLEPOST=1476225187][/DOUBLEPOST]

Because he was never a target of hackers? Maybe he wouldn't tell anyone?

It's likely his sniper would have also had security holes when it was still new, yet no hacker simply went for him.
I'm OG owner. Just bought it with giftcard and had no idea of importance back then.

This is why I didn't really use snipers when I still sold accounts. They are never the safest method. This is honestly amusing being truthful.
