Wellnice is a registered 501c3 non-profit that uses virtual coaching in order to empower our clients to make positive behavior change in the four pillars of health: nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress. Wellnice Coach
All of our Coaches are volunteers and help out other community members who want to improve their life in one of the four pillars of health: nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and/or stress management! These advisors are not professionals, experts, or trainers -- they are simply ordinary people like me and you who have already drastically improved their life and they want to help other people out do the same!
Global Requirements to be a Coach:
- 18 years of age or older
- A current or former college student, studying Nutrition, Dietetics, Exercise Science, Psychology, or an additional wellness-related curriculum. Previous wellness experience (such as previous experience working as a coach, trainer, instructor, etc) OR equivalent certifications (such as NASM-CPT, Institute of Integrative Nutrition, ISSA, etc) may also be acceptable in lieu of studying the above fields.
- Active in the Community for at least 3 months
- No History of Community Punishments
- As a regular member, you must make weekly helpful messages for community members relating to nutrition, movement, sleep, and/or stress management.
Job Description:
- Work with up to 10 individuals per month to prevent or manage chronic conditions by facilitating healthful lifestyle modifications.
- Pilot experimental coaching protocols and techniques as a part of a test-driven environment.
- Help pioneer innovative ways to merge behavior change with technology.
- Motivate, guide, and help our users navigate through their programs and meet their wellness goals successfully.
Operations Assistant
Wellnice is looking for an organized self-starter to join our staff team as an Operations Assistant! The Operations Assistant's responsibilities include reporting directly to the Operations Manager and fulfilling the Manager's duties in their absence. You should also be well-versed in internal operations, take notes at meetings, forward and distribute information as required, and prepare and file relevant documents.
To be successful as an operations assistant, you should possess excellent communication skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks. Top candidates will have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Operations Assistant Responsibilities:
- Acting as second-in-command to the operations manager, and taking care of all duties in their absence.
- Assisting the Operations Manager with operational issues.
- Scheduling meetings and team building sessions as required.
- Promptly answering the questions of staff and Wellnice members.
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with members.
- Preparing and filing forms and other documents.
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Analyzing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the Operations Manager.
Operations Assistant Requirements:
- 16+ years of age (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb organizational skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to learn.
Medium: Both roles are 100% remote and require 5~ hours of commitment per week.
Compensation: Unpaid & Volunteer. Coaches may receive credit for volunteer/service hours on an Official Wellnice Letter Head that may be used for future jobs, employment, education, internships, etc after 90 days of work. All coaches may request a letter of recommendation after working at least 6 months with Wellnice.

Successful applicants will undergo two interviews total: one 20-30 minute group interview and one 45-60 minute individual interview. Accepted applicants are required to sign an NDA, volunteer working agreement, and complete 5 hours of training to start working on our team.
