Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the core have built in factions? If so, the factions plugin should be removed.

Fixed the classes issue. Use the zSpigot jar provided to run server, as PaperSpigot apparently has broken events ^.^

The new project does not work. zSpigot still uses Player[] instead of Collections for Bukkit.getOnlinePlayers().

Put the Spigot API over the other Spigot in the dependencies tab.

Works for me mate, you're doing something wrong. I did it on stream 2 days ago from scratch.
Make sure you have the correct Guava version & that it's being shaded properly.

If you are still having issues with compiling, try using this it worked for me.
