Who is Rewrite Media?
ReWrite Media holds Pathway Studios, the foremost publisher on the Minecraft Marketplace, and provides services to Microsoft, Amulet Editor, and other industry professionals. Since 2017, our goal has been to support creatives and foster beauty. Though much of our work over the years has been giving support to external creators, we maintain a tight-knit internal creator team laser-focused on making the best and most creative content we can, and we're finally ready to expand the family.

What is the Minecraft Marketplace?
ReWrite Media primarily creates content inside of the Minecraft Marketplace. On specific versions of Minecraft, there is a built-in catalog of creative content users can purchase directly inside Minecraft. We work together as a talented group of creators to create adventures, skins, mini-games, and more that makes us and our fellow partners proud to be part of such a fantastic and exciting system. This opportunity would primarily consist of creating content for this Marketplace.
Job Responsibilities
We need someone to bring our products into focus. Your role would be to work closely with our producers and project managers to highlight our final products and capture their best side.
This role would primarily involve recording, editing, and adding transitions to highlight our products on the big stage.
What is required:
- Knowledge of video editing & post-processing skills. No specific software knowledge is required.
- Strong understanding of recording in-game footage for Minecraft (Bedrock Engine)
What we are looking for from you:
- Ability to speak, message, and have a conversation at a native English level
- Have a microphone (This is a remote job!)
- Be able to work by yourself and with a team
- Self-organized and able to work on a project without frequent monitoring
What would give you extra points:
- Previous experience with another Minecraft Marketplace partner
- Extensive experience with editing footage with other Minecraft maps, skins, or games.
- Experience with animating rigs and external rendering tools.
- An extensive portfolio of both content in and out of Minecraft
Additional Information
You would be assigned projects per-video/clip and be expected to work alongside directly with both our creative and project directors.
Pay will be on a per-project basis as a for-hire contractor with the opportunity of further advancement within the company. Pay can be negotiated on hire.
