What actually happened to "TheCore"

Hi,

This is PluginSupport on an alternate account until I sort things out with my main account (and when the staff actually look at my support request - thanks for that by the way).

Let me start off by saying that TheCore was a colossal failure from the start, I should have never allowed people to pre-order, which rushed the end result leaving a huge hole in my reputation and sadly selling people an uncompleted, shitty excuse for a core or even plugin.

It did run 20TPS at 300 players, which I was really happy about and was truthful, but the rest of the project was utterly rushed, misunderstood among the majority of buyers, and never really had anything that had been advertised.

I really did try to get it ready for the inital release on the 10th, but the developer I hired to help me literally did nothing over the week that I had assigned a portion of the project to him. That, and other issues involving scum of the earth Jellyninja and other issues I had encountered (which I won't be getting in to) led to a core that wasn't worth selling or maintaining anymore. I really just lost the drive to work on something that I no longer enjoyed doing.

Anyways, this project has now been passed on to subbotted, I no longer have anything to do with it, so any affairs or issues you may have with it, please speak to him. I am sure he will make it a lot better that it was in it's last state.

I am working on a new project, something that I am hoping will revive my reputation in the community, as well as bring something awesome to the table at the same time. Please stay tuned for updates and information that may be on this account, or my main account PluginSupport.

It's unfortunate to see such a big project fail. I think there was way too much hype over 'The Core' which resulted in many users pre-ordering it before it was even released. If I were you, I would've kept everything private until the project is server ready. I also wouldn't have set a specific date for the release (especially if it isn't finished) as this could piss a lot of customers off.

That's exactly what I thought, I knew I had made a mistake as soon as it was released.

There was also way too much hype on it, mainly due to the lower price tag and the features it was promising.
