I have been trying to get a job (as a 14 year old) for a while. This is hard since there is this annoying pandemic still taking over the world). I applied for many jobs in my region but these jobs only allow me to work after February '22.

I'm still saving up for a pc without any income (and this chromebook is hurting my feeling right now). Does anyone know how to make money online as a beginner?

Happy face -> :)

If you have little hard skills like Photoshop etc, then probably management services (from my own experience).

Don't be too greedy and charge money immediately, start slow and work your way up. You can start as a helper or moderator and give out free vouch copies to build your portfolio. Once you've gained enough experience, then you can start charging money.
Also think about how much you're gonna charge. Don't overcharge if you have little to give but also don't undercharge if you have a lot to offer.

Head to the Recruitment & Staff forum and see if there's any available positions for you to start your journey. You can also create a thread and tell them who you are, what you can do/offer, your experiences, etc.

At a young age like yours, I would recommend learning a difficult skill (be it artwork, design, programming, etc) and then run with that. Get extremely proficient at what you do and then make yourself known. Give out free copies or at a very small price and build your way up. Then start charging more.

However, since you are so young, you need to talk with a parent or guardian on how to receive payment, taxation, and the like. You don't wanna develop poor habits relating to this. It can seriously bite you in the butt.

What would be the best thing to learn considering the current market?

I would personally recommend some form of development. It's very profitable and really nice to have on a resume later in life. In addition, it really helps the brain. Be whatever language you wish.

Super basic summary:
Java - Native android applications, minecraft plugins, and more
C# - .net and windows desktop applications, video games, and more
HTML, CSS - Front-end website development (how websites look and user interaction). Html and css are markup languages and necessary for the next two. They are basically outlaying a bunch of information on the screen. The next two manipulate the website.
Javascript - Front-end web development. This is user interactions and cool stuff. You can also develop full-length applications with it after learning for a while using different frameworks.
PHP - Backend web development (how it functions behind the scenes. Such as a login system). You gotta know at least html and css tho.
Swift - For apple development.
Dart, Flutter - For mobile app development.
Python - Data manipulation, very easy to start off with, and can be used to automate some of your own tasks. Usually regarded as the best beginner language.

There are plenty more. Do some research and start learning.

Some really good advice in this thread so far. I would add to that with the following:

* Making money online can take years of steady investment. So don't expect you can turn a profit in a few weeks of effort. Try to put in a small but consistent effort over a long period of time. I would say that it helps tremendously if you would gain enjoyment from it, as it would be likely that you would not give up if the enjoyment of the act is the reward just as much as the montary gain you stand to make.

this is a good resource for learning coding, https://www.w3schools.com/
It really isn't anymore. It's super outta date. It's based on HTML, CSS, and ES3 instead of the current standards of HTML5, CSS3, and ES6... plus it's very basic and ineffective in teaching style. If you yourself are a developer, I would be looking to get updated information as those are quite old standards and heavily discouraged to be used.

A better starter resource would be MDN for front-end.
