What are some efficient ways to attract players to my server?

Hey, I'm Crimson, and me and a few friends recently started a skyblock server. We have an average of maybe 7-12 players on at a time, but those are mostly people that are friends of ours or skype contacts we reached out to. It's time that we need to start increasing player count to stay afloat, and I need some help in doing that. We believe that we have a truly unique skyblock server, which is important as there are many out there, and quite a few players who join end up sticking around. I need some help getting the server off the ground and increasing player count. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot. I'm pretty sure you've heard this many times, but the key to advertising is youtubers. Fans of youtubers wanna play on whatever server they're playing one. So when youtubers record on ur server, their fans will want to go on too and play with them. Then the friends of those fans will join and play with their friends.

Hello, I'm also an owner of Skyblock Zone. We believe we have a pretty unique server, specializing in different areas than most. But the issue is, we can be as unique as we want. But in the end, no matter how unique we are, we have to get ourselves out there. This is the largest area we're lacking in. We just need a decent way to get our name out there.

We're trying our best to work with youtubers However, most do not respond. Or, they are requesting a lot more than we are able to pay at such a low income and playerbase.

You should definitely have a big budget for advertising. I agree, youtubers are the best way to advertise.

Your best bet is Google Advertising from Summer.

There are 4 of my known ways of advertising, I'll give you the two safe, and the two risky ones.
1 (Safe) Youtubers
2 (Safe) Server Websites (Bought slots / good server list)
1 (Risky) Word Of Mouth (However is good for keeping a player base)
2 (Risky) Advertisement From Other Servers (Can get you a lot of hate, or a lot of players)

Find an active MCM user who has a very good rep and is trustworthy, tell them you want to place your server banner in their description thing for a certain price. Anywhere they type, your server banner will pop up, so the more active they are, the more people will see it.
