What are some features you would like to see on a KitPvP server?

Hi, what are some features people would like to see on a KitPvP server. I know any sort of ELO scoring system people like, as it adds in a more competitive atmosphere for the players and staff. I was thinking of a weapons level system, so you can level your weapon up, and in turn get different effects added to your weapon, or it would upgrade it in some sort of way. However, other than that, what else is there that would make people want to keep playing because they are able to achieve/get higher in ranking etc?
