What can 1K for ads even get you nowadays?

Yo, it's yo boy Lil Broomstick. I'm making a very unique Skyblock server B.
I have a very HQ logo from my own team, as well as banner and builds.
The setup is going to be very good and everything will be unique and aesthically beautiful.

Now, I dont know what to do for ads, because I am broke.
I had illegal tactics on getting players a few years ago, but those days are OVER.
I need to do this legit, and I don't have any more clothes or gold to sell.
Soundcloud business isn't doing too well either.
But seriously.. will 1K or less get me anywhere even if the server and logo and banner are amazing?

Before even bringing a direct payment into it I'd recommend contacting big, (20k+) YouTubers and first offer them a portion of the servers earnings lets just say 20% for them to start a series.

It's a pretty unique server in my opinion, and is going to be made very well, way better than all the servers on .org
I would be fine with that, but it's hard to get any of them to respond...

If your server is amazing as you say it is, making it a success will not be hard.
If your server is good, players will stick around and play on it, and they will come back.
So all you have to do is get people to click on your IP and play on your server, also known as advertising (duh).

From personal experience, I've noticed that getting streamers on your server may be a false hope. When they're streaming on your server, people only join your server to see their favorite streamer, and they don't really give a shit about your server. Once that streamer logs off, so are all their fans.
I know Youtubers and streamers are not the same, I'm just giving my own experiences.

To me it makes more sense to buy a slot or other form of advertisement that targets players who are actually looking for a server to play on (such as Minecraft server lists - that's where people go when they're looking for a server to play on, makes sense, right?).

So if your server is truly better than all the others on .org, just buy a slot there.
