What core should I get?

Hello!

Is it more worth to get a fully new developed core by a hired developer or should you buy one that already exists? What does it usually cost to hire a developer to make a core?

Probably not worth hiring a developer to make you a custom one unless you need a set of features that other cores don't have. I know AquaCore is really good (https://www.mc-market.org/resources/11118/). I don't own it personally but I know a few people that do and it's really well built.

I would recommend against using AquaCore due to it having a lot of conflicting features which make it very difficult to have things setup in certain ways. Ex: Tag Colors mean you can't set a tag with multiple colors, you can't use Aqua's tab list or /list command as if somebody changes their name color in /color, it changes their color there too, making their rank color worthless. If you wanted to get a custom one, you'd probably be looking at $100-$125. TBH just use LuckPerms and Litebans there's nothing wrong with them and they work fine.
