Basically, OG means original.

A common real word such as "Dog" "Cat" "Red" "Blue" etc. Also could be a character such as DarthVader, Superman, Batman or something that you'd want to be called that has a real meaning. There are also "Semi OGs" which have suffixes such as -s -es -ed -ing. These are worth substantially less and quite often you'll see the average HCF player get a semi and say "I'M OG NOW GUYS!!!" (Usually along with 10 name changes in their history)

That's the stupidest thing I've heard so far on this website, congrats take a pineapple.

By looking through your recent activity, I see that to you, everything is "stupid" on here so I'll take that with a grain of salt.

When you have an OG, you'll know it. I frequently have people ask me if all these random names they claimed are OG and out of all the people who have asked me that question, a couple were semi.

So if a 9 year old Minecraft player managed to get the name 'Egg' at the release of Minecraft multiplayer - you expect him to know that it's OG? Most likely he has chosen the name because he likes it, not because he knows if it's OG or not.

Which is why I said "Typically" instead of "always" to account for the rare cases like the one you stated in which the name actually is OG/semi.
