I was wondering what would consider a name og or a name semi, as about a year ago it seemed quite tight and now a word with s at the end of it is considered semi to some people and to others anything with a definition. Just wondering what your thoughts are on this topic!

While there are some guidelines to what is og/semi, it's more or less based on popular opinion. If most people consider the name OG, it's OG. One of the ways to figure out if it is og or not is posting it in the appraisals forum:

Basically an OG name is a name that is either an extremely common word such as Apple or Run or a popular (fictional or not) character.

Here are examples of so-said differences in nouns:
- Condemn / Condemnation
- Demon / Demonic
- Angel / Angelic

After that, if they are names or popular brands/comics/celebrities, then they are also considered as OG such as:
- Microsoft
- Picasso
- Monet
- VanGogh
- Joker
- BillGates

so on and so forth :D

Basically, the "Root" of a word without any suffixes, would be considered an OG.

For example:
Run or Ran would be an OG, but Running, or Runs would be considered a semi.
Plead would be an OG, but Pleading, Pleads, or Pleaded would be thought of as a semi.

At least that's how I see it, hope you understand this topic a bit more. :D

Thanks!
I get that to an extent but when it comes to some shit when its not actually a addon or anything but is still a semi which I dont get and in terms of tiers how a name like "spiders" would be put as high as something like "motivation" when motivation is a actual word but spiders is a word with s
