what do i need to know before starting a service team?

I am interested in making a service team, I'm not sure if I will but it's a maybe. I am currently aware that:
- I need to leave some teams I am already in
- Need some funding
- Enthusiasm

Thanks for all the replies guys. Helps a lot. I think I may not make a service team to conclude from all these replies. I will come back with another thread on a similar idea to a service team but different. So keep an eye on this forum (if you want)
