What do you all think of Sony investing in Discord?

Hey,

Sony has recently announced that they have invested in discord during their Series' H investment round. I was wondering what you all think of this. This means that PlayStation Consoles will have access to Discord as well as a few other benefits. They haven't really specified what their plans are for Discord, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

What do you guys think of this, would it be better if Discord went to Microsoft//Xbox instead?

Sony isn't buying Discord - it's an investment.

They term my server every month or so, My akk got token logged and discord said fuck off and enable 2fa, their support took 2 months to tell me that.

Yep, and with a large corporation backing it, it would be even harder do me to do business.

They did say it was a minority investment, so they didn't invest a lot.

In my opinion whenever any big company gets involved into something it goes down the toilet. But Discord is already a decently sized company so it might turn out alright
