Hallo,

Sorry if I cannot get my point across straight away. I've actually had this on my mind for quite a while (bullshit, more like 5 minutes.) and was wondering what you thought and could contribute by discussing on this topic.

I was wondering what you find appealing to a beginner YouTuber. What do you mainly look for, is it video quality, editing, audio quality, smooth gameplay/videoplay, their voice, or whichever. What do you look for mostly in a beginner YouTuber that just starts YouTube?

Myself? I would say video quality is what it is best at. Sure, you may want to commentate on what you game but you become better and better over time, the same goes for video quality. However, it is YouTube, where in my opinion, video quality is one of the biggest things to look for in any form of channel.

I will list them in order of importance..
1) Video Quality - Your audience HAS to see what your doing.
2) Audio Quality - Your audience WANTS to hear what your actually saying (TIP: Get a pop filter).
3) Smooth Gameplay - Your audience does NOT want to see how bad your potato runs Minecraft.

Out of curiosity, do you think knowing how to commentary is important, or do you believe it takes time to know how to commentate with a virtual audience?

If so, I agree.

Of course some people have the ability to commentate better than others but that comes with time. Of course your not going to be the BEST youtuber when you first begin but you will eventually learn how to interact with your audience.

I don't think it's a must, but I think it's generally a good effect to have whilst going up the ladder of YouTube.

The most important things in my opinion (not ordered):
- Sound Quality: Nobody's saying that you have to go out and buy a Yeti, but at least use a desirable microphone that captures your voice without you sounding drunk af.

- Speaking/Commentating: Personally, I hate when 10 minutes of a video is filled with um's and like's. Try sounding like you're confident and enjoying making a video

- Inteo: I, without a doubt; absolutely hate intro's that are filled with a metric shit tonne of motion. A simple icon/name fade at the start of a video looks professional and doesn't interupt a playlist of videos

I agree, although I do not think the same about general commentating. It's nervous when you start off but you get used to it. Like I mentioned above (just an opinion) :p
