So few weeks ago i started a MC server that didn't require much money to host it due to only 2 staff were needed to join and build and setup plugins.
The thing is that when the server starts and opens to a public, it will obviously require way more money.
  • Server Hosting (most expensive)
  • Website Hosting
  • Discord bot hosting (cheapest thing)
  • Premium plugins (mid costs)
And more things sometimes are required to purchase. (artworks, buildings, etc)

So today, i had a chat with my entrepreneurship subject activity group (we simulate to be freelancer building an enterprise). Crowdfunding was a chat topic.

And i thought... what if i start a Crowdfunding campaign to get some money/players to help the server I'm building

So, what are your thoughts on this?
May be a good thing?
May be against Minecraft EULA, etc
Any tips or further explanations from you are very very appreciated.

I found this posts on the internet, pretty old tho but are exactly what i try to explain.

(French, i used translator to understand it lol)

English is not my main language, however i consider im good enough at it, even tho, i'll appreciate a lot if i made any mistake you can correct me so i can learn more.

Thanks to everyone taking a look at this post.
Have a good day.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

1.People on kickstarter would not at all take it seriously
2.It probably wont succeed, as you need a pretty large audience before going to kickstarter
3.I would stray away from it since you are not savvy on the legal lingo involved with this.
