Like Egg Wars? Hmm... Maybe whilst fighting in a guild against another, you try to destroy their 'core' in a certain given time.You should make a clash of clans server where you can challenge other clans and try to destroy their base whilst they attempt to protect it. That would be awesome!
Ahhh. A random skill tree idea. Okay, okay. I can see how that could definitely be fun. Although, some people like the idea of getting(and choosing) a guaranteed skill for a weapon or tool so they know how to work towards it.Yeah but it'd sorta be like a skill tree but not 100% guarantee of any enchant just an enchant from the group picked.
So example you want a pvp based skill so you'd pick that part of the "Tree" and you'd get some random pvp related enchant like maybe fire or sharpness or something custom but if you had picked lets say the "Utility" part of the "Tree" you'd get like fortune or efficiency or something like that. Idea might need to be worked on but i'd love a server with something like it.

Thanks for your help. I was thinking if I were to make one, then I would make all of the maps with the builders first, as well as get a head start with plugin development(out of my pocket). Then later, maybe ask the community for some investments to finish things up?Ive done maps for a few dozen RPG servers and have gotten peeks into the server development process for all of them.
the one thing that kills these servers is long development time!
id suggest starting with a very basic rpg setup, nothing crazy and custom. Finish building the map, unless you have a major build team (15+ dedicated builders) id recommend making a smaller more detailed map.
Release the server with the basic setup. you can always expand on the basic plugins in the future!

Apart from wepons and all that stuff, It would be cool if you made kind of a dungeon with 100 floors, each floor has like some mobs and at the ned of it it has a boss. So boos fights within your mates would be epic and it would be cool if you got some stuuf from the boss. for example, supose there is a quest where a npc askss you to get the bone of the skeleton Boss, and the skeleton is at the florr 10 , you will have to get to floor 10 but to do so, you will have to kill the other bosses before, after you kill the boss from one florr , you will be able to warp at that florr whener you want so the next time you dont have to defeat that boss and the onse before. So supose you kill the bosses up to the florr 9. And the nect day you do /warp floor9 and you get to the exit of tha floor and kill the one from the 10th.
