When I try joining my server, it says Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Bad packet id 71

This shows up for me only when I join my server. I haven't joined it before, neither had anyone else. And only one server shows an error in the console for having a wrong port, is that the reason for this?
Thank you.

EDIT: I turned off the server which is the only one showing the error, but still the same message shows up when I try joining.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Got the same jar on all of them?
What do you mean? The Bungeecord and Spigot jars are same on all of them, I think the error is caused becase, I downloaded a pre made bungeecord server, I replaced the spigot.jars and bungeecord.jar with a 1.7x 1.8x version as it was only 1.8 compatible. I also added an extra server into it, which the console detected an error from, so I removed it, but still the same message.
I'm no expert, but

Sounds like a network problem.

Do you host the server yourself, or?
I host it on my laptop.

Someone said that the error is because you're joining with the wrong version, don't quote me on that though.

Can you tell me who is that? What have I done wrong?
I think the best thing would be start over again, it's not much tbh.
