What happened to my account?

So I bought a 2013 minecon cape over 2 months ago (no TID), I took a little break from minecraft for maybe 2 weeks and I come back to me not being able to login.

Tried resetting password, said to check email....i did...
checked my spam/all mail .... nothing...
no security questions or password change request....

Tried making a new account on mojang to see if my email was registered to any account.. nope..


What happened??? please help or give me a reason on why?

Mojang recently went on MCM and a few competitors and was searching through all the accounts that have been sold and locking them due to it being against their TOS.

Your cape account, unfortunately, is stuck in a state in which you will not be able to recover it. (Unless you somehow prove to Mojang themselves that you're the OG-owner.)

Sorry to hear about your account being locked, maybe contact the person you bought it from and tell them what happened? Maybe you could get a refund, but I'd doubt it.
