Key message: Don't call people out on their parents being too lazy and can't find any work or were too lazy to get an education because they think somebody is a spoiled brat.
I wouldn't say that my family isn't wealthy, but I do not get ~800$ worth of gifts for Christmas. I think you are spoiled if you get something like it. So, if you are succesful and gifting your child ~800$ worth of gifts for Christmas is not spoiling your kid(s)?
I do not get such gifts because my parents want me to work for something I want, because that is how they got wealthy. Giving me everything I want, or a big portion of it does not get you ready to become succesful because you will be used to getting everything.
I would love to see how you do without your parents around. I don't think you will come far if you feel like being gifted ~800$ is not being spoiled.
Also, did I call your parents "spoiled brats"? No I did not. Did I call the kid who did not work for the ~800$ present a spoiled brat? Yes. So your whole post is invalid. Well, not everything, I do agree what you said that working hard is the key to anything. But you or most of these kids cleary do not work hard.

To everybody saying that most people on here are spoiled brats; you've probably gotten some expensive things for christmas in the past.
The most expensive thing i've gotten was a new computer which I still use and have almost fully justified the purchase by having made over half of the value of the computer with what I do. I also use it for school, work, and play.

Highest I've ever gotten was ~$250 present, but then I would only receive one thing. But a computer doesn't mean that you are being spoiled since if it's not really high-end and you will use it for school, work and play it is pretty much needed nowadays. Almost everything is digital so almost every kid needs a computer, or access to a computer.
Some parents have different morals that prohibit them from spending so much money on gift expenses. Sometimes materialistic things aren't the only way to show your love in a time of giving.
My parents are very successful. But, my siblings and I do not get money or tons of gifts because that's just not who we are. And that's perfectly ok!
Even if some parents don't have cash due to financial instability, you just offended or hurt these users who aren't going through good times. Some people aren't as fortunate as you. Just understand that your post was hella ignorant.
I mean, unless it's my little pony or some shit rofl at least you'll use it. Half the things people get are barely used or replaced soon after.
