I really do need a group of opinions to help me weigh a decision I am currently making. Im a huge audio nut, I mean I spend more than the average person on audio related stuff. This time im looking for a low budget headset for under $180 but I need mic quality, comfort and most import of all, audio quality and low end and middle frequency responses. To be specific I want a big soundstage (Not very easy to find with headphones under 200) but I have already purchased the M50x's im looking to use them for external use. I now need a great gaming headset for strictly computer use. Im used to spending around a minimum of $300 on headphones and never really purchased a headset other than a Hyper X Cloud and the headset literally does not sit on my head anymore because it has become so stretched out. And im just sick of them falling off my head when I bend over or have my head at a angle.

Im currently looking at ATH-PG1's

But considering the SteelSeries Arctis 7, I have never really cared for wireless connections since wired is always a better quality and lithium ion batteries are a pain in the ass when it comes to long term durability.

If you can provide a little bit of a review and rating of your headphones/headset I would insanely appreciate it.

I can already say I will NOT purchase Astro's or Turtle Beaches. Anything else is fair game for me to read about.

Razer Kraken (if you're on a budget)
Other than that, don't get other Razer headsets
Oh I also forgot, after hearing how bad the quality of a razer mic is, ill just stick to their keyboards and mouses.

Just listen and try to not cringe at how bad the quality is.

If you want mic quality, I would definitely stay away from razer. Had my Kraken Pro for 3+ years, but the microphone is absolutely horrendous. I've heard good things about HyperX, they have both good audio & mic quality, and are relatively inexpensive.

Get a pair of Logitech G430's they are very comfortable and suitable for gaming. Also, amazing price.

Audio Technica ATH-M50x & Blue Yeti.

That's what I use for 3 years now, and i can guarantee that it will work for at least 3 more years.

A huge ass mic on your desktop could be annoying, though.[DOUBLEPOST=1478097821][/DOUBLEPOST]And don't buy 'GAMING HEADSET 1337 BIG DICK HEADPHONES'. (Steelseries, razer, etc), and don't get wireless. Charging them is a bitch if you use PC for long periods of time.

Just get a good brand, such as Audio Technica, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, AKG, Pioneer.
