I've been in that state multiple times, what I usually do it visually draw it a thousand times, as within the thousand times I actually teach myself cuz I always spot the mistakes and in my head say "HEY! Try this"

If you can't do it visually try and do it somehow practically. I've used it to learn Pythagoras as I got a triangle box and got asked what dimensions it were, knew two of the sides but didn't know the last one. So it's a mind game where you need to get dealing with it, you do learn MUCH better when working with it on hands, not on a computer. (From my experience)

actually using the math in real life situations, not just for homework shit (ex for me, I used algebra when programming so I became good at it)

If you're smoking weed than that is literally the issue. Dm me for furthermore on this
Though I personally have not smoked weed, I have two close friends whose memories were literally ruined by their constant use. As memory is a huge component in almost any learned skill, smoking pot would not benefit you.

My advice would be to find a friend who has taken the course you're taking. They will know what they struggled with and be able to help you, as well as prep you for anything like state exams, AP exams, etc. I'm not particularly talented at math, and having friends or older kids help me was what got me through my HS math courses. If you're in college no idea if this strategy works, I ain't going.

Photomath is actually pretty helpful. You take a picture of the equation or type it in and it gives you the answer but it also tells you the steps to solve and it helped me out quite a bit.

For me, I learned math a completely different way than the things I've seen being posted here. The thing about math is not that you must have seen every alternative of a question to be able to answer the next one; some people believe just practicing a lot will make them understand it, the thing is you are often not understanding it then; you are simply repeating what you have seen before hoping to generalize the idea well enough to pass your exams. The thing that helped me most learning math actually were concepts that I learned from object oriented programming. The idea that, when some general idea works on some object (for math, that often being a formula), it also must work on a somewhat different object, as long as certain important characteristics are the same, was a clear eye opener for me. I believe that learning to program should be at the foundation of learning to generalize mathematical concepts. It is not necessarily the syntax of the programming that is import though, its mostly the inner concepts that will help you generalize lots of technical things, including math. Also; don't learn so that you pass your exam, that is the wrong objective. Learn in a way where you believe you are learning and understanding what you are doing. If you choose to go for option 1, it will probably be just a couple of years before you consider yourself "bad at math". Good luck!

Just watch videos on your topic you're struggling with then do past paper questions on that. The only way to learn maths is to keep doing it. If you don't get a stage, rewatch the video. Only way for it.
