For a long while, CubeCraft used a poorly configured NoCheatPlus. In November of 2016, someone had figured out a way to bypass the NCP, and that was by taking damage. After that, the Jigsaw Hacked Client had a new Flight mode, called "CubeCraft". It allowed you to fly, but you had to take damage every 4 seconds. Then, everything evolved. Turns out you could use TPAura and kill everyone in a SkyWars game in a matter of seconds. This was abused for a few months, until CubeCraft had enough, and hired developers to make their new anticheat, called "Sentinel".
