What is a knockback patch?

Title says it all. Would it be good for a factions server?

I believe knockback patches are used to make PvP better for players. I am not certain but from what I have heard you can set custom KB using Vertical and Horizontal multipliers and fix KB bugs such as the relog KB bug. This would be useful on factions due to the large amount of PvP but I would find it more useful on HCF servers. Hope I could help

if ur using spigot 1.8 no need for kb patch..

I'm pretty sure a "knockback patch" believe it or not.. patches knockback!

I'm no PvP guy, I find nothing wrong with the knockback. What does it patch?
