What is a migration e-mail?

I have seen the migration e-mail term. What does it mean? Is it the e-mail of the Mojang account it was migrated to?

You can find when your Minecraft Account was Migrated at https://account.mojang.com. It means when the name was found.

That was not the question. I asked what is a migration e-mail, and not that where can I find the date my account was migrated on.

There's no such thing as a migration email. It goes with when you got the account name.
