Bitcoin is a type of online currency. No one controls it,not like a bank or so. The prices of Bitcoin fluctuates. The transactions you make with Bitcoin is 99% impossible to chargeback. (heard there was a way,not sure however.) Most people use Bitcoin due to the fact it's safe to receive money and you can't chargeback like with PayPal.

Yeah I forgot this is 2017, everyone needs to be spoonfed everything and no one can do any research on their own, forgive me!. When I didn't know what BTC was, a simple google search and 5 minutes of reading answered my questions - if that's too much for op, well, that's too bad.

Its online currency it's safer than any other currency at least for now and is not bad to have your money to bitcoin because the price fluctuates so you can deposit 20$ for less tan one bitcoin and after one week you can get for example 24$ to prices fluctuating.
