In your guys opinion, what is the best 1.12 spigot fork?

If paper 1.12.2 is the best way to go, how many players am I expected to hold with high-grade specs (E-2288G for example)

I've been using kspigot, but I wouldn't say a E-2288G is high spec, you usually want to use a I9 or Ryzen CPU for hosting a good server

How many players have you managed to handle on a single server with kSpigot? Also, include the correct specs you used if you don't mind.

It doesn't matter what specs, 1.12.2 servers can only handle 250 players at once. But that still causes lag. Unless you have a modified jar that supports more.

An E-2288G is top of the line. Its the server equivalent to an i9.
You can't say "it doesn't matter what specs, x spigot will easily handle y amount of players." - That simply isn't how it works. Custom spigots offer optimizations from Paper, but those optimizations only do so much. You can't give a "custom spigot" 512MB of memory and 1 core @ 0.5GHz and expect it to handle 200 players.

For the OP to get an accurate representation of what you're custom spigot is capable of, you need to provide your server specs.
