There is no "best" host. There is always some sort of compromise to be made whenever you pick a host. That might be paying more to get better performance, or it might be paying less to get more mediocre, but still decent, performance. It's going to depend on an individual's budget and the type of server that he or she wants to run.

He's asking an opinion on the best server host. Pretty sure his intention was to get some hosting costumers sharing their experiences

I'm not exactly sure what you meant by "costumers". We are for sure not the only ones in this thread "self advertising". Rule 2.1.1 also states "Do not post content containing personal opinions while using a business account". Considering your previous position here, you should know the rules better than anyone else. That's beside the point though and you might want to look at the fourth reply. It is quite funny how you target certain people, don't you think? You can't claim we are self advertising when you have a banner in your signature.
