What is the best way to advertise.

Hello,
As you can tell this is my first post. I am pretty new to advertising and wondering what is the best way to "advertise" for beginners and get my server out there on the web.

In my personal opinion I don't think planetminecraft, minecraftservers etc etc the "voting websites" isn't the best way to go. They always bring bad people who just try and destroy your server.

Youtubers are mainly good,but once they leave/quit,an amount of the viewers that joined will quit too probably.

Signature Advertising is ok,not bad. Just gotta make it big or something.

The others I don't know xD

I heard slots are really good and in some cases better than Youtubers but its like the stock market you need to be smart, know when to take part and when to back out. Hope that helped! :)

Thanks for replying! Just a few questions and thoughts. Are signature advertising a thing now? Also how would that help me... In order for people to see your signature you would have to reply to many many post and/or make post. I would basically want you to type every second..

Hello thanks for the info! It's just Youtubers think they should get paid high amounts of money just because of their sub count. I don't think sub count is the main factor. I believe that views are the most important thing, a youtuber could have 5k subs but only 20-30 views? There goes a big red flag... lol

Also buying slots are expensive and although they would promote the server BIG but I would need something easy for beginners :p

I agree 100% on that, makes no sense. Also slots are easy to work with HOWEVER, if your server is lacking custom features or things that would make the players keep playing you will find out that players join have a look around maybe hack a little then they wont ever come back unless your server catches their eye.
