What is the best way to become a MC dev

I want to learn spigot/java and was wondering what the best way was. I found this https://www.spigotcourse.org/ but I wanted to ask here to see if there were any better options.

Well, that's by the ChatControl developer, and it's a paid course, but if you don't know basic java I would also learn that, since it'll require java knowledge for making complex plugins (depending on what you'd want to do)

I can show you some tricks and stuff like that for free (ASD#5991)
