Are there any ways to protect discord channels from spam?

Can I set up any kind of verification or registration, thus a user must register before entering the channel?

Also is it possible to add functions, thus it deletes everything that is spam-related, high caps, bad language, HTTP links etc.

Yeah verification to get into a server. You can also have slowchat on it’s a timer where you select how many seconds. 15 is normal.

You could have a bot check their time interval per messages sent and customize it so that certain roles you give to more trustworthy members have a shorter time interval, thus able to speak faster. If a user continues to violate the time interval/spams, then bot can run a temporary mute on them, even muting them if they leave and return to try getting rid of it.

As stated above, I'd suggest either enabling Slow Chat or adding a specific discord bot the assists with spam and language control.
