I'd like to know, what's the definition of "Semi-OG" and "OG"?

From how I see it, an "OG" username is the base of a word. Example: "Have - Get - Kill - Wash"
A "Semi-OG" username has a prefix or suffix added to it. Example: "Unforgettable - Healthier - Sweets"

But I sometimes still get told that my understanding is wrong, could you guys clarify for me?

after observing the whole OG and semi-OG business for over a year now, I'd say you're on point.
Of course, it has to do with the length of the word as well.
"Exclamation" being a semi does not really make "Exclaim" a particularly good OG. Sure, it might be technically so, but its value is closer to that of an expensive semi.
The meaning of the word and how common it is has an effect as well.
'Word', for instance, is definitely OG
'Excel', however, is debatable.
and 'PowerPoint' is DEFINITELY semi XD.

What I learned early on is that OG and semi is based on the word, not the value of the name, because what people value names is very different from person to person.

Recent example is "connector"
I think this is OG because it is a noun.

While I saw other say it is semi because it is low-worth.

and that^ is where the discussion on something being OG or semi comes from.
I would NOT call connector an OG. It's a relatively obscure word, normally semi material
Other is definitely debatable, and would probably end up as semi as well.
But something like, say, 'Nice'? It's an adjective, but it's definitely an OG.
