I wanna know if Venmo is worth using/dealing, and if its trusted with IRL money.

I'd give it the same rating as paypal. In general it's fine, still has caveats though.
The best payment method would be using cashapp, or dealing in eth

If you do crypto, it might be a good idea to be on a handful of wallets so that you can handle as many currencies as possible. Or just use hardware wallets and be on a proper exchange. Either way, my point is it shouldn’t be very difficult for you to swap between cryptocurrencies. Granted, I don’t do crypto myself atm, so this is all book-theory right now lol.
