nope, try to make one the lava will hit the water and generates on the place where the water was..

This depends on the efficiency that the pickaxe has.

You don't need to water to hit the lava

Not sure of the plugin, but there's a specific plugin this needs to even work. Just built it in Singleplayer and it breaks without plugin.
