  • The think everything is free. I want to live with my mom and dad so I can live this great glamorous life hardly working or not working at all. If I am working I'm gonna use my money to party. Once my parents die the government will give me money so I will be okay. 30 years ago peoples parents kicked you out if you weren't working.

  • "Freedom of speech" Every single millennial thinks freedom of speech means say what every you want. NO it doesnt. Be reasonable. How can someone call a patriot a freedom fighter an anti-american. These people cover up there faces and protest.
  • Donald Trump (The god) Will someone please explain to me what he has done wrong??? Ok kicking out illegals. Well those are the laws. Trying to change taxes. LOL. Why should richer people be punished for working harder???
  • Freedom!!! Have you ever talked to someone in there 20s who is from a different country. Everyone here complains how bad there lives are. My brother boss if from Australia. He never complains because he knows how much greater America is compared to the rest of the world.

Sorry for the rant.

I'm not really 100% informed on all political situations in America. My ex girlfriend's father (in America) explained a fair bit about the political system in America. He was a Trump supporter. The idea about dividing groups in ''Republicans'' and ''Liberals'', or another party like Conservatives or Democrats just seemed weird to me. However, no matter what side you're on, if you support ANTIFA you aren't right in the head and deserve a throat punch. Their so called ''protests'' are riots.

Without getting too political I definitely feel annoyed when seeing ANTIFA mobs but more than anything I find them funny because I just don't understand how people can agree with their views.

You just have to accept that "the next gen" will always seem "worse" than your own.
In the netherlands, this stay-at-home student thing is also becoming prevalent.
Its because of the student grants having changed a lot.
You used to be able to get $1100 per month (1000-something euro), some of which was a gift (assuming you manage to graduate inside of 10 years) and some of which is a mostly interest-free loan.
Now it's all a loan, and the max is 800-something euros. So instead of going into bigger debt, students are staying at home for longer.

Now, it also depends on the parents, but what I would do if my kid wished to stay at home is charge some basic rent. $100 or so.
Maybe let them buy their own groceries, or make a contribution of 20% to the monthly budget for the house. That way, they'll need less than $200 per month in actual living costs, which means they wont need to get a major job, but they won't be able to sit on their ass all the time either.

Personally, I couldn't WAIT to get out of my parent's house. Too much stress going on, and being in one place with my sister for too long becomes grating.
However, I can manage it because I still have the old grant system (aka 1000-something euro per month), plus what I make on here, which is between $100-$500 per month. However, a lot of my current classmates can't actually manage. and our study demands full-time.

Stay-at-home students are not a problem. People that never learn to work for their money ARE.
Don't blame the kids, blame the way their parents (fail to) raise them.
If I had kids and one of them asked for an iphone, I wouldn't just give them it. Possibly not even as a birthday present (or maybe I'd make it so that that is the only worthwhile present they get). They'd have to actively earn it. Spend up to a year doing extra chores, and you've earned your iphone (assuming they're at LEAST 10). Doesn't matter if I make 6 figures or more, they need to learn that money doesnt grow on trees.

Al in all, the older generations judge the younger ones for their failings, not realizing that they often helped bring them about (not always, but often).

As someone who was raised at least partially in a previous generation (born late 90's, grew up like someone born in late 80's in many ways), I can see the enormous difference. I can also see what other parents of kids my age did differently than mine. It's 60% parents, 25% school (teachers AND classmates) and 15% other environment for the first 12 years.
After that, its 50% parents, 20% school and 30% environment.

Also, "how much greater america is compared to the rest of the world". You mean compared to africa, south america and large parts of asia? Because that's pretty easy.

The population is increasing so there's a chance that people in specific situations will increase as well.
oh yeah, that's a good one as well. For accuracy, lets place these next to a graph of population growth.
That kills the "homeless students" graph relevancy already.
