What is your story on McM?

Wow, there are some interesting stories here. Great post idea EpicFooF
Here's mine:
- Was in a developer group chat on Skype with Night (who plays CSGO on my steam, and hasn't attempted to steal the account from me, he's a good guy. Verringer was not the true founder. MCM was not his to sell. He basically stole it from Night.)
- Heard he was making this site called MCM, and everyone in the chat was joining to check it out / laugh at it
- I didn't join because I didn't think it would go anywhere, but eventually people actually started using it for real
- I joined, member 194, made a few posts, but there still weren't nearly enough people to get good business, so after a few months of nothing I basically walked away.
- Verringer eventually sold MCM to Mick and the email notifications I got from MCM picked up pace, and I got on again seeing that the site was starting to go somewhere.
- Got involved with the community, purchased premium, and made shoutbox my new home.
- I ended up being one of the many chosen for the new shoutbox mod rank, and the rest is history.
My past is bleak and unexciting, though I sincerely hope to be able to carve a great and beautiful future with you guys as we continue to grow together as a community, and a forum.
