1. F&F refunds

You can refund friends and family. If you call up paypal say you have been scammed provide proof and legal documents that prove you are over the age of 18 and your SSN. It takes a maximum of 180 days to refund doing this.

2. No more kiddie paypal
While talking to people in paypal and higher up people in the company . They will soon be removing all accounts of users under 18. They will be requiring SSN, Legal documentation, and a bank statement in order to create an account.

3. Account locked
If your account gets locked currently and your over 18. You can call PayPal and they will unlock your account with proper legal documentation.

Im unsure if they unlock your account because your under 18. I would imagine your parents would have to get involved.

Yes to some extent. You would in theory need to be 18 to use a paypal. Most ppl on here there parents dont know and you can a make a paypal with pretty much a visa gift card. pretty much all users with out verified documents will get locked from accounts till they prove they are over 18

How are they going to buy it though. No paypal to buy from other mcm users and like bitstamp and coinbase require documents.

idfk, but they'll probs find a way. Steal their parent's creditcard or something. Its up to them. Im just glad I'm 21 now.

No but a creditcard cant prove. My mom dealing with my F&F messed up thing was required to show her SSN, Liscenses and passport.

I've literally done every single transaction ever through Friends & Family, and I do multiple a day.
I never realised you can easily refund with F&F, hope no-one does so

Yeah, that's one way. People will have to perform services in exchange for paypal. I know Exodus, at the least, does not require verification of any sort

I can only recommend Exodus as it is the only one I have used. A hardware wallet is the most secure, clearly, but software is more accessible. I picked Exodus, since I prefer ease of use over enormous security in this situation (I do not expect to handle more than $100 worth of cryptocurrency at any point)
