I actually appreciate that someone has asked this question because throughout this quarantine I've gone through a lot of self-reflection to find out what truly motivates me, why I need to be disciplined, and how much I still need to improve.
Discipline > Motivation, motivation is an emotion, and emotions are only temporary. Discipline is something that can last your entire life, but I guess what "motivates" me to be more disciplined, is that I've yet to accomplish my life's purpose (whatever that may be), therefore, I always have something to work towards, whether it be big or small.
Thanks, I hope this provides someone else some motivation to keep moving forward. Keep looking up or forward, never down. There is light at the end of your dark tunnel.
