What laptop should I buy?

Not quite.

I want a laptop that I can use for work (backend web developer) and use on my free time. I game, but I also own a desktop computer for that so I'm not sure if I need something that can run heavy games.

I was thinking about the MacBook Pro 13" because I think the OS looks great, but I have never owned a Mac before. I also came across the Dell XPS 13" and the Razer Blade Stealth 13". All of these are in the same price range, just not sure what to pick. I'm afraid that if I pick the MacBook I might dislike it for some reason, and I generally don't like Apple because of their overpriced phones. Also scared to buy the Dell because what if it's not strong enough for what I use my laptop for?

Give me your thoughts, maybe you own one of these and can tell me a bit about them. Thats all.

What are you trying to do with the laptop?

Coding, maybe some design stuff (mostly mockups), general web browsing and perhaps the occasional Minecraft game

I have been a Dell fan ever since, Dell has made another achievement on creating a very handy laptop that has an amazing processor and graphics card. Also XPS 13" has an updated 8th Gen Intel Whiskey Lake processor which is a convenient thing to have.

I personally have a HP Pavilion 15-CS0055TX (i think that's the right one) and I'm happy with it

Get a Macbook, especially if you want to go into development. Windows computers tend to not last as long nor have the same build quality as a Macbook. Macbook 100%.

Personally don't think gaming laptops look good, I want a light laptop for work and coding mostly. Also don't know about the Macbook anymore, think it might get weird and having Mac OS on the laptop and Windows on my desktop will most likely confuse me.

I have a Razer Blade Stealth ordered and coming sometime next week, I can DM you my thoughts on it once I get it. I got it from some flash deal BestBuy was having, only paid $1100. (I got the mx150, 1080p)

The thing is I can get it cheaper if I want, but then I won't have the northen keyboard layout that I'm used to.
